when something feels off, that’s enough
You might not have all the words yet — or even know where to begin.
That’s okay. Counselling can be a calm, steady space to explore what’s been weighing on you and simply start making sense of it.
You might feel unsure what counselling looks like, or whether it fits your experience.
There’s no perfect way to start.
You don’t need to understand it all yet.
There’s no threshold you must cross first.
Often, the first step is just noticing that something feels heavy, confusing, or harder than you expected.

People often reach out when they
Feel anxious, tense, or quietly overwhelmed
Second-guess choices or conversations long after they happen
Are tired of carrying things alone
Notice patterns that don’t feel helpful anymore
Want to understand themselves with more clarity and steadiness
Feel stuck between options and afraid of choosing “wrong”
Are carrying pressure about money, stability, or the future
Feel behind in life or unsure where they're headed
Through gentle inquiry and reflection, you may begin to:
Recognize patterns that have shaped your inner experience
Move from constant tension to a deeper sense of steadiness
Replace self-doubt with growing self-trust
Feel supported rather than isolated in your struggles
Loosen old patterns and respond in new ways
Approach decisions with confidence rather than fear
Hold uncertainty with greater capacity and self-compassion
Feel more aligned and intentional about your direction
taking a pause
If you’re feeling anxious, stuck, or unsure of your next steps, you don’t have to begin with a decision.
You can begin with a breath.
I created Tree of Abundance as a gentle guided meditation to help you reconnect with your body, explore what may be standing between you and the life you desire, and soften into even one small shift.
This practice weaves together somatic awareness, inner reflection, and compassionate inquiry — offering a moment of steadiness before taking your next step.

I’m Polina (she/her), a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor Candidate originally from Ukraine and now based in Vancouver. As an immigrant who has lived in over six countries in the past decade, moving across cultures, languages, and identities has deeply shaped how I understand belonging, transition, and reinvention.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in hospitality, property management, and marketing — holding many roles and identities along the way. These lived experiences continue to inform how I support individuals navigating change, uncertainty, and the evolving question of who they are becoming.
My work is shaped by my own ongoing journey of self-discovery — a process that, to me, unfolds across every stage of life. I’m deeply curious about how our early relationships shape the way we see ourselves, others, and the world. In childhood, we learn how to belong, how to attach, and how to feel. We often carry those early stories into adulthood — sometimes long after they’ve stopped serving us.
Counselling, for me, is a space to gently examine those inherited narratives and begin to decide what truly belongs to you. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with your inner wisdom, take up space more fully, and live in alignment with who you are becoming.
What is working with me like?
At Neroli, my work is integrative and person-centred, combining somatic, narrative, and other evidence-based approaches to support deep and lasting change.
Somatic therapy helps you tune into your body’s wisdom — noticing how emotions, experiences, and protective patterns are held physically. By listening to the body, we access unconscious layers beneath habitual reactions and create space for regulation and release.
Narrative therapy invites us to explore the stories you carry about yourself and your life. Together, we gently examine these narratives, separate you from limiting beliefs, and open space for new, more empowering meanings.
I also integrate CBT and DBT to offer practical tools for understanding thought patterns, regulating emotions, and building resilience. These approaches are woven seamlessly into the deeper reflective work — supporting both insight and tangible change.
At times, we may incorporate meditation, visualization, or dream exploration to engage the unconscious and bring hidden aspects of yourself into awareness.
Rather than prescribing solutions, I see therapy as something we co-create — guided by your pace, your readiness, and your inner knowing.
